Pre-Commencement Reception

Lesley University welcomes all students of the Class of 2018 of the Graduate School of Arts and Social Sciences, as well as their friends, family and guests, to our annual Pre-Commencement Reception. Celebrate your accomplishments with other graduates and their families, as well as members of the Lesley University faculty and staff. Music provided by the Guided Imagery Band, featuring Jacqueline San Nicholas and Benjamin Burke of the Graduate Music Therapy Program.

Directions to Alumni Hall and Parking/Travel Instructions:

• Alumni Hall is a room inside the Stebbins Hall building on Doble Campus at Lesley University (31 Everett Street, Cambridge). A Doble Campus map can be found at http://www.lesley.edu/campus/doble/ (#11 on the legend) or http://www.lesley.edu/map/ (click on “Doble Campus” and the map will zoom in). Alumni Hall can either be reached by taking the elevator to Level 1 from the outside or by going through the front door of Stebbins Hall and going through the double French doors to the right after going up the first 5 stairs inside the building.
• Because parking in Cambridge is often unpredictable, we highly recommend utilizing public transportation or using metered street parking on Massachusetts Ave and in the area (usually a 2-hour limit). The Alewife Station and Quincy Station on the Red Line have commuter parking lots, from which you could take the Red line to the Harvard Square station or Porter Square Station and following the directions below. The Commuter Rail Fitchburg/So. Acton Line also runs to the Porter Square Station. • From the Harvard Square stop, walk north on Massachusetts Avenue toward the Cambridge Common. After about 10 minutes, take a right onto Mellen Street. At the end of Mellen Street, enter the campus area by walking up the stairs or ramp on the right to the Quad. Stebbins Hall is the building on the right if you are standing at the top of the outdoor amphitheater (large concrete steps in a semi-circle).
• From the Porter Square stop, exit the station on the left and turn left onto Massachusetts Avenue, towards Lesley’s large University Hall building (1815 Massachusetts Ave). Walk south on Massachusetts Avenue approximately seven blocks before making a left onto Mellen Street. At the end of Mellen Street, enter the campus area by walking up the stairs or ramp on the right to the Quad. Stebbins Hall is the building on the right if you are standing at the top of the outdoor amphitheater (large concrete steps in a semi-circle).
